Konami’s MGS4 on Xbox 360 explained

YAY! I’ve already played MGS4 on a friends PS3, but for all of you people that didn’t shell out $300 or $400 for a PS3, and want to play it on the 360, well, Konami is looking into just that. I don’t think that this is something that is too shocking, because seriously, who didn’t know that it was going to come to the 360?

Xbox 360 head wrong – Blu-ray doing just fine

Recently, Xbox 360 product manager, Aaron Greenberg, indicated in an interview that the Blu-ray is not the future. He also goes on to take stabs at Sony for some of its decisions regarding the PS3.

Confirmed: Obama Is Campaigning on Xbox 360!

Go Obama! It’s quiet obvious that whatever he says now about not supporting video games, we know that deep inside, he really wants to play Halo 3 online….whenever he’s debating. Obama is now advertising in the Xbox 360 game, Burnout Paradise, that he wants you to Vote for Him! Do it, don’t you see him on the T.V….if he tells you to vote for him, DO IT!!!

Firmware Updates: PS3 (v2.50) / PSP (v5.00)

YAAAAYYY Firmware updates! Well, I’m not excited for the PS3…because I don’t own one, but for the PSP! The PSP 5.00 upadate will include a sleep timer while you are playing music. Also, there’s an PlayStation Network icon on the XMB. Now, downloading demos, watching trailers, and getting games is even easier than ever.

For the PS3 2.50, there are too many updates to post right here (or I’m too lazy to post), but you can check out at the link at the bottom. One of the more noticable updates You now have the option to set the PS3 to turn off automatically after a background download or installation of content has completed. This option is available when you turn off the system from the button under [Users] while content is being downloaded or installed.

2009 Xbox 360 Exclusives

It’s a good time for Microsoft and all of you 360 fans, because there’s a lot of exclusives coming out for it, which the PS3 will be missing out on.

Known Games:
- Mass Effect 2
- Alan Wake
- Halo 3: Recon
- Ninety-Nine Nights 2
- All Points Bulletin
- Huxley
- Halo Wars
- 2 days to Vegas (Timed exclusive for PC and 360)
- Project Forza 3
- Lionhead Project Dimitri (Confirmed that Lionhead will release a game in 2009)
- Rare Project 1 (Rare always releases at least 2 games each year)
- Rare Project 2
- Mistwalker Project 1 (At least in Japan)
- GTA IV Episode 2
- Fallout 3 DLC (Confirmed it’s the same size as Oblivion expansions)

Possible Games:
- BioShock 2 (Maybe coming to 360 and PS3, not sure)
- Age of Conan Xbox 360 version (Confirmed, release date may be early 2010)
- Project Gotham Racing 6 (Probably not, since there is no dev to make it)
- Too Human 2 (Hope not, the devs need to take their time to polish it, unlike the 1st one)
- Silicon Knights Project 1 (Announced that SK has at least 2 more Projects beside the Too Human series in development)
- Knights of the old Republic MMO (Probably Multiplatform, but not sure)

The battle of the virtual worlds…Sony and Microsoft FIGHT!

Yep, that’s right. Get ready for the big fight between Sony and Microsoft in the virtual worlds battle. Both announced Second Life-style esque virtual worlds for their consoles. The player will obviously be represented by a “unique” avatar, engaging in relationships, and going about day-to-day business. Sony’s “Home” has a release date of November 19th (yeah fucking right), after its delay twice already. It will go up against Microsoft’s Xbox 360 “New Xbox Experience”. Who will win? Well, that’s for you to decide…

Awesome, the best game in the world, Assassin’s Creed 2, has got some more information for the fans of it (I know that’s not a lot). We can only hope that it’s as good as the first one.
