WoW Whore Has 36 Accounts, Raids by Himself….Surprisingly

Do you, on average, spend about $5711 a year on MMO’s? Well, a person by the name of Bradster is doing just that on the popular PC game, World of Warcraft. Bradster has 36 accounts, which he plays on 11 computers simultaniously. Below is something that the Bradster put out himself.

A lot have asked me, why create so many? The main reason is to invade Stormwind and Ironforge when they reach top level. I’m sure the Alliance will put up a big fight when that happens. We’ll see how it goes. If they don’t make level 70 before Wrath of the Lich King, then it will be at level 80. That is my main goal. That will probably happen after I’ve got some PvP gear from the battlegrounds. I’m also planning to do some 25 and 10 man raid instances but that is secondary to my PvP goal. Of course I’ll be doing arenas too to build up PvP gear but I’m not expecting to do that great there because I’m way behind in gear right now. I need to get to level 70 first, then level 80 and by then I will probably have all green gear while most others have been doing the battlegrounds and arenas.

It costs me exactly $5711 in subscription costs per year with 36 accounts on the 6 month pay schedule. Not bad considering I’m looking at it like it’s a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft.

32 of my shaman are level 61. One shaman that I had before I started the 32 is at level 70 along with 8 other level 70 classes that I had. My mage, priest and druid are in the center of the circle of shaman in the pictures but they are kind of hard to see. I’ve also got some mages and priests that I’m currently working on that are level 23. Once they are at level 31.9, I will stop working on them, get 16 of them to level 60 with the recruit-a-friend bonus levels and work on the shaman again.

When Wrath of the Lich King is released, I plan to be at the store when it opens and will purchase 36 copies of it. With tax, it should be about $1500 for all of them. Then the shaman are on their way to level 80 along with the priest, druid and mage.

By the way, I have 9 level 80 shaman created on the Murmur PvP realm in the Wrath of the Lich King beta. I mainly tried it out to see how well my computers would work as they are. With the exception of one my desktop computers, I should be fine with the hardware that I have.

I use 3 addons in the game. CT_MapMod is used to give me locations for quests, etc. ClassIcons is another addon that I use to show the class of the target. It helps for PvP encounters. Then the last addon I use is SSPVP2 which is excellent for displaying timers and other things while in the battlegrounds.

For my keys to send to all instances of WoW on my 11 computers, I use Octopus 1.3.2. Maximizer in Octopus allows me to start up all WoW instances at the same time or any individual instance such as if a WoW instance has crashed. It also allows me to shutdown all of the computers at the same time.

Not shown to the right is another laptop which runs 3 copies that I just moved there. The keyboard on the right was moved to the top shelf there as I don’t really use that keyboard while playing. I have macros that set my main assist/cast/follow. Any of the eight screens to the front can be set to main assist/cast/follow as my mouse scrolls to them all using Octopus.

Seemingly shocking Graphics appear in TGS ‘08 RE5 trailer . . ?!

I honestly just don’t know what to do anymore. I LOVE the Resident Evil Series, I’ve played and beat every single game at least twice…but why? I just got a look at the latest trailer from TGS including RE5 footage in it…and it honestly looks like a PlayStation 1 game to me. I was talking to some friends who were there, and thought that the game was going into a flashback….but no, that’s the actual game.

The road looked terrible, and when you hear the wind in the game….no trees move. Maybe I was extremely high during this part, but I don’t think I was, and I honestly don’t remember even a single leaf moving.

TGS: Star Ocean IV and moving on PS3

Good news for all of you PlayStation 3 fans out there (I know there aren’t a lot of you), Star Ocean IV has been annouced that Star Ocean IV: The Last Hope is being planned to be released on the PS3 as well as the Xbox 360.

More Dragon Quest IX Footage

Possibly two of my greatest loves of all time. The Nintendo DS, and RPG’s. I love the Dragon Quest series, and am extremely excited that the next sequel in the line of games is coming to the DS. I am still kind of surprised that Square Enix is bringing a whole entry in a franchise over to the little DS, but I think it’s best not to question them.

Nintendo DS Steals the Tokyo Game Show

I’m not there right now, but I have colleages that are, and there’s one thing for sure that I’m hearing….the Nintendo DS is stealing the Tokyo Game Show. This isn’t something that should come as a surprise to you, I mean, the huge install base, all of the developers for it, and the fans, how could it not?  Piles upon piles of games are coming out for it, and I have one of the biggest backloges of games of my whole life. Everywhere in the world as of now…the DS reigns supreme.

Gears of War 2 goes Gold

Microsoft and Epic Games, Inc. announced today that “Gears of War 2,” the blockbuster action sequel to the five million unit selling original, has gone gold.

“After two years of pouring our heart and passion into ‘Gears of War 2,’ the team is immensely happy with what we’ve created,” said Epic Games Design Director Cliff Bleszinski. “This is Epic’s best work yet, and we can’t wait to see the response from fans and newcomers to the series alike.”

I’m extremely happy for Epic and for the Gears of War 2 series because this is an amazing accomplishment. The game is truely extroedinary, and is definitely a must-buy if you own a 360. Personally, I think that this is without a doubt Epic’s best work yet, and with the momentum they’ve got going, I can’t wait to see what else they start to come out with.

What if Sarah Palin Was In Video Games?

This is single handedly on of the most fucked up things that I have ever seen in my entire life. A bunch of photoshopped pictures of random games with Sarah Palin’s face in them. I honestly don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to play anther Lara Croft game again. All of these pain me to see….what do you guys think?

PS3 BioShock Apparently Looks BioShitty: 2K Responds to ‘Bioshock’ PS3 Pixel Problem

Well, it was just a couple of minutes ago that I posted the screen shot comparisions between the PS3 Bioshock version, and the 360 version. The PS3 version was obvsiously a lot more crappy looking than the 360’s, but 2K just responded to the screens.

Elizabeth Tobey, 2K Community Manager, had the following to say about it:

“When we saw a post asking about issues found in the demo, we jumped on it immediately. And you know what, you’re right. The texture in the PS3 demo of the downed Big Daddy does not match our level of quality either. This slipped by. We admit it. However, I want to assure you that this is an exception, and not a rule, and while I regret this oversight, we put a lot of love into making this game look amazing for the PS3 and I’m sure that when you play the rest of the demo you will agree that the textures are not all like this one instance.

As for the other issues and concerns, we are currently diligently working to replicate any bugs, and will report back to you with what we find. Thank you for your vigilance here and moving forward.”

Well, I’m not the biggest PS3 fan out there, but I hope that they fix some things up a bit, because if they put out Bioshock looking like that with the capabilities of the PS3, I think K2 will loose a lot of it’s credibility.

TEKKEN 6 Not Coming To PS3- But Bloodline Rebellion Is

Yesterday, Namco Bandai held a press conference discussed some upcoming announcements, and went a couple of other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the Playstation 3. The Playstation 3 version obviously have a lot more content than the arcade game, but as of now, there is no current release date.

Confirmed : Massive Xbox 360 and Wii price cuts set to spur retail war

It is now announced that both the Xbox 360 and Wii will be getting price cuts in the UK. Sainsbury’s confirmed that as from Friday 03rd October, running up until October 12th, the Xbox 360 Arcade version will be available for just £99.97(previously £129.97), with the 60GB model offered at just £139.97 (reduced from £169.97).The customer service line also said that the Wii will be reduced for the same period from £179.97 to £149.97! Congratulations UK! It looks like if you don’t already have an Xbox 360 or a Wii, you could pick one up now.
