Gizmodo question of the day. What’s worse, Waiting for Mac OS X’s Spinning Beach Ball of Death or Vista’s Spinning Ring of Death? They’d also like to know if any of these actually compare to waiting in line on Black Friday. Well, what do you guys think is the worst? (It would be the beach ball of death for me).

Seagate’s ‘Computer Friends’ Really Want You to Invest in 1.5 Terabytes of Storage

Nerd rap, it’s the only way to go. This time, Seagate’s “Computer Friends” video, which pairs a couple of ironically wiggeriffic cubical emcees together with their black co-worker (for a ghetto pass) to spit a hot 16 about their beloved computers, and the need for more storage, specifically a 1.5TB HDD.

Want Cash for Home? Collect Trophies

playstation home logo 300x250 Want Cash for Home? Collect Trophies The release date for home is Dec. 15th or the 30th…they said it is definite. There will be random weather, there will be a money system. you earn money from collecting trophies. and you will get money for the trophies you already have. Right now there is a censor on swearing, but will be taken off in the full beta. The open beta will also be 18+ only.

This has been called fake by some Home users, so for now this is just going to be a rumor. I guess we can only hope until this is rightfully announced.

Square Enix’s Move To The 360: A Terrible Mistake?

A nice debate on whether Square Enix’s move to the 360 was a positive or negative move. Personally, I think it was a great move, as it will obviously help sell more of their big titles, and will expand their audience. What did these guys have to say?

Warren Marshell (positive):

For the casual gamer it seems that at the moment (if they are even aware) it would be a stirring of press releases and corporate mumblings, but take a step back for a moment and take a look on how this will impact the consumer themselves. Whether you know Square Enix by title or not, if you have played a few RPG’s chances are you have played one of their games.

Sutton Dagger (negative):

Last Remnant is currently in my Xbox and I’m contemplating how the mighty have fallen (stay tuned for the full Last Remnant review coming soon…). There is (in my mind) a prominent reason for this catastrophic change, a focus on the Xbox 360 platform which has resulted in a complete change of mindset, both in the ways games are produced and developed.

Check out the great debate here
