Apple May Turn to Carbon Fiber for MacBook Air

untitled 300x149 Apple May Turn to Carbon Fiber for MacBook AirAs if Apple’s MacBook Air needed to get any lighter, Apple is now saying that they might add carbon fiber reinforced plastic in the future, making it weigh less than 3 pounds. Not that I don’t like the MacBook Air, I would totally get one if it had the power of my Dell, but does it really need to get lighter, and if so, how much lighter can the laptop actually get before sacraficing on the technological side of things?

Changing a little bit…

Hello everybody,

I’ve decided to change everything a little bit here. It’s, just not what I really want to do. I’ve wanted to create an overall “technology” blog for a while now, and was thinking about purchasing another domain. Instead, I’m going to turn this blog into a blog about gaming, computers, technology, and all of that good stuff. I will still have the same amount of updates, but they will just be a little different. I’m going to change the layout so you can differentiate between the categories, so look forward to that soon!

Cya,

Rumor: LittleBigPlanet Coming to PSP, BottleRocket Making Flash Superhero Game

little big planet flash Rumor: LittleBigPlanet Coming to PSP, BottleRocket Making Flash Superhero Game

Wow, all of these EGM rumors are either scaring me half to death, or making me want to jump out of my pants in joy.

A few days ago, we got some rumors from EGM’s mysterious Quartermann. These are also in the magazine as well. Here are a couple of the better, more juicy rumors:

The LBP universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version: Q-Mann hears it’s fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3 LBP experience.

I don’t know how LittleBigPlanet would work on the PSP seeing how bad it is in Lag, but we also don’t know who will develop the game.

And what’s next for Media Molecule?  Suitors are lining up at their door, and we hear they’d like to bring their revolutionary concepts to a new genre – possibly online role-playing games.

Interesting, I guess we’ll have to wait and see who’d going to develop LBP for the PSP, if it does come true that it’s coming out.

Also if you dug a little deeper into the rumors, there was a snippet about developers from BottleRocket, who are currently working on Splatterhouse which is expect to release mid-2009. We’re learning that Flash may star in his own game.

Mark of Kri masterminds BottleRocket have their hands full trying to get Namco Bandai’s Splatterhouse reboot in presentable shape (it’s currently looking awfully…brown), but that’s not stopping them from crafting a game based on a certain fleet-footed DC superhero.  Forging a compelling Flash game won’t be an easy task

PSP and DS a thing of the past says Apple…

main 300x200 PSP and DS a thing of the past says Apple...Hmmmm….that’s an interesting statement. If the PSP and DS are a thing of the past, then I guess the monthly sales of the DS selling 596 thousand units, and the PSP 267 units, will it really stop pretty soon? Now, with the soon to-be-released PSP 3000 and DSI, innovation is better than ever, especially for Nintendo. The statement that the PSP and DS are a think of the past was made by Apple’s vice president of iPod and iPhone product marketing, Greg Joswiak. I’d have to say that you can’t make those statements until the iPhone and the iPod Touch sell more than the DS and PSP monthly.

PS3 controller adds touchpad interaction!

ps3 keypad cropped PS3 controller adds touchpad interaction!Pretty sweet and clever if you ask me. Sony is rolling out a new QWERTY keyboard, that has a couple of shortcut buttons – a Message Box button and a Communication button. Bt far the most interesting addition is the Touch Pad feature. You can use the Touch Pad as a keypad, allowing you to easily maneuver the pointer while web browsing, simply by sliding their finger on the keypad surface. Although it looks like it might take a little getting used to, it’s still cool!

Is it possible? How to Make Gears 3 Better Than Gears 2

gears2shots1 Is it possible? How to Make Gears 3 Better Than Gears 2 Wow, people are already thinking about how to make Gears of War 3 better than Gears 2. Gears of War 2 has sold millions and millions of copies, and I think that it has lived up to most of our expectations, but of course, there are always things that you can fix. Here’s one that Split-Screen pointed out:

Fix the Story

Sorry Cliff, but whatever your writer was on (or wasn’t) didn’t exactly get the creative juices flowing. Marcus and his band seem to be playing “Where in the World is Carman Sandiego?” with all the flitting back and forth. So many edgy scenarios were possible. And no, we don’t mean the euthanization of Dom’s wife (the love angle itself was poorly handled) but the high-jacking of a Locust Brumak as Marcus and Dom ride into the sunset. All would have been forgiven if Adam Fenix had said, “Not another Grand Theft Auto” but noooo…

Is Killzone 2 Doomed?

2501797264 e224a606ca Is Killzone 2 Doomed?

Just a few months, and the PS3 will have one of it’s biggest and most beautiful releases, Killzone 2. I’m sure that the game will sell tons, and will be received with open arms by Killzone fans, and Playstation 3 owners in general. But will the game fail because of the lack of advertising? This has plagued exisiting games on the PS3 that are amazing, such as Little Big Planet and Resistance 2.

I feel that if Killzone 2 is going to have a solid release, then it will need the solid amount of advertising, so people actually hear about it.

Why Microsoft Should Stop Charging for Xbox Live

153729 xbox live original 300x187 Why Microsoft Should Stop Charging for Xbox LiveYeah, I’m pretty sure that’s the overall concensus of all, if not most, of the Xbox owners. Microsoft should stop charging for Xbox Live. Why does Microsoft even pay for Xbox Live? Enough people use it, and enough 360’s are sold that that you’d think that Microsoft has made enough money to stop charging for Xbox Live. Of course, I pay for it, only because I want to kill people on Halo and Call of Duty, but not because it’s worth it. What do you guys think?
