Microsoft: Don’t Go to Best Buy, Come to a Microsoft Branded Store!
Last month, there was pictures of pretend Microsoft stores, and it looks like the crew at Microsoft are taking that idea one step closer to reality. Microsoft has announced that former DreamWorks SKG exec David Porter has joined up as corporate vice president of retail stores to “create a better PC and Microsoft retail purchase experience”, so what’s the logical thing to do in this situation? Create Microsoft branded stores obviously!
Sounds interesting, although not really sure how successful these “microsoft” stores would be.

Yeah, I also wonder where and how many they would make. If only in major cities like New York, Phoenix, and so on, or possibly small(er) towns.

True, that’s too specialized a store. Big cities only. Microsoft doesn’t really have that much product to sell, except for Xbox titles.
