ASUS announces stylish U/UX series ultra-thin laptops

asus u ux series cebit rm eng ASUS announces stylish U/UX series ultra thin laptops

ASUS is taking this whole laptop ultra-thin shit a step farther, as if naming it’s last ultra-thin laptop after a fucking sweet car, the Lamborghini, it’s now announced the U and UX series of ultra-thin laptops, expected to launch sometime in Q2. Both come with an illuminated keyboard, and an auto-adjusting LED backlit display. But wait, that’s not all! The U series of these laptops comes with a 15.6-inch glossy LCD and a touchpad that uses progressively fading lights to follow your fingertips. With the techy stuff, the laptop comes loaded with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForce G105M, up to 500GB HDD, and Altec Lansing speakers with SRS true surround sound. Too bad not as much info has been announced for the UX series of these laptops. Look for a release date and price in weeks to come.

  1. Hi!

I’ve already worn down an Asus and I can say they sure know how to make a laptop (not surprising since most laptops are made in Taiwan anyway). They can name this one The jalopy and I’d still line-up for one if I have the money. Sweet specs.

  2. This is a replacement for the first netbook I purchased, an Acer Aspire One. The Acer died after 28 days. The Samsung NC10 is one amazing netbook, best I have tried. Great keyboard, fast, quiet (the Acer was very noisy), and as a bonus—NO crapware installed from the factory! I installed a 2meg RAM chip to replace the 1meg from the factory. The only fault I can find with this computer, is that the speakers have very little volume.
