17 Third party iPod shuffle headphones will require Apple licensed authentication chip

Okay, one things for sure here. After you get done reading this post, you and me are going to agree on the same thing: that Apple has hit a new fucking low when it comes to their products. iLounge has just posted that all manufacturers that plan on making headphones for the new iPod Shuffle will have to have a special hardware authentication chip. This means that each company that wants to make a something for the headphones that would be compatable with the iPod Shuffle will have to go through that whole shit-long proccess with Apple. I mean, it was bad enough when Apple put required certification with the dock connectors, and now this!?

  1. That sucks but ain’t gonna be a huge problem. I’ll simply buy some shuffle knock-offs from China. I’m sure they don’t have restrictions. :D
