Is the Spy the Scout’s Father?

Okay, so you may or may not know that all of the authors at Default Prime are huge fans of Valve, and especially, Team Fortress 2. Well, with the leaked “meet the…” video by Valve, we learned that the Spy tore up the Scout’s mom. Well, this may just seem like a harmless joke, but by looking at the Spy’s achievement list, it’s actually the discovery of the century.

The Spy is the Scout’s father. You want to know how this is? Read over and see exactly how.

Bremmy Primed: 5 Better Video Game Quotes

This week, for the “Bremmy Primed”, I’m going to step away from doing nothing, and post up, what I think are 5 better video game quotes. The only catch is, I’m going to try to stay away from the ones on that OTHER list, and cliche video game quotes that have been  used 5 million times. *cough*You can’t hide from the Grim Reaper. Especially when he’s got a gun*cough*. So, without further ado:

5. “Thanks for the pencil, chump!” – The Bully, Day Dreamin’ Davy

dddthanks4pencil Bremmy Primed: 5 Better Video Game QuotesWhy is this quote better than that stupid Grim whatever quote? I’ll tell ya’ why. It’s because skeletons are pansies and bullies who steal pencils are HARD CORE.

Definitive PSP Go! Guide to Pictures, Videos, and Information

While surfing around on the interwebs today, looking up news about the PSP Go!, I stumbled upon a plethora of websites with information, pictures, videos, and so on, and these included NeoGaf, cnet, kotaku, PlayStation Lifestyle, and countless others.

Well, with all of these videos, information, and pictures surfing around, and not in one place, I decided to make a definitive post with all of what I’ve seen on the internet in terms of PSP Go! So here we Go! (pun intended):

PSP Go! Information/Hardware/Games:

3.8″ screen

43% lighter than previous version

16 Gig memory

Bluetooth support

No UMD

Downloads games and movies

Won’t replace PSP 3000

No Second Joystick

New Little Big Planet, Jak & Daxter, Metal Gear Solid Games Coming

Host Belmont then asks, “So since it’s called the PSP Go, I would image it will work with Remote Play as well.” Koller responds with the following blanket statement: “Integration with the PS3 is very important, and it works just like the PSP 3000. A lot of people like to be able to take their PS3 content with them on the go.” via cnet

“We haven’t announced any new PSP hardware and can’t comment on rumors or speculation,” an SCEA rep told Kotaku when reached for clarification. via kotaku

PSP Go! Videos:

All in all, I think that the PSP Go! Has a chance. So far, I’m believing all of the pictures, videos, and information that will come out, and I think that the decision on buying it will depend on the price for a lot of people. Expect a lot more information to come from Sony at E3, but since the news is already out, I believe there will be a lot fewer gasps in the crowd.

Buying Games because of the Box art

Remember back in the days when you were naive, and you just bought video games because of the box art. You know, the box art was all snazzy and looked supper cool, and no matter what 2 games were were comparing about buying, you knew you were going to pick up the one with the better box art? Well, those were just the good ol’ days huh?

I remember one of my the biggest box art influences that encouraged me to buy a game was undoubtdely Super Smash Bros. back in the Nintendo 64 days. I mean, you’ve got Mario and Pikachu duking it out, Samus getting knocked on her ass, and all-in-all, bad-assness. The game, in turn, was freaking awesome. Of course, we’ve got those bad choices that we made, where the box art was really bad ass, and looked super cool, and then the game turned out to be shit. That for me, would have to be Shaq Fu for the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Game Gear, Amiga, and Game Boy. The game was freaking horrible, but who wouldn’t buy a game with Shaq on the cover, in a freaking kung-fu pose? Yeah, that’s right – nobody.

I’d like to know what your guys’ best and worst experiences in buying video games because of the box art, and now that we’re older and more knowledgeable, we’ll never make that mistake again. (THANKS INTERNET!)

Sony’s Biggest E3 Announcements of all Time!

PlayStation LifeStyle has put together what they think are the biggest E3 announcements ever made by Sony, dating back to 1995.

E3 1995

SEGA, after having two poorly-received hardware offerings with the SEGA CD and 32X, needed to impress the crowd at the very first E3.  SEGA had previously announced the SEGA Saturn before the show which had a scheduled release date of September 2, 1995.  However at the SEGA Keynote, it was announced that the SEGA Saturn was secretly shipped to retailers the night before, and was now on sale for $399.  A move that left retailers unhappy, and gamers without many launch titles to choose from.
