Dynasty Warriors 6 Coming to Europe on June 26

KOEI has announced today that the release date for Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be June 26th in Europe. Set in the combat-prone world of Dynasty Warriors, the game brings a lot of new features and implementations. For the first time in the Dynasty Warriors series, you get the opportunity to play as either a ruler or an officer. This means you can either be the person who rules all of the little people on the screen, and tell each one of them what to do; or be the person out there fighting and fufilling the orders of your ruler. This implementation brings a log of replayability to the game, and a lot of different ways to approach and play the game.

Here are some of the features that the game brings to the table:

• Play as a ruler or as an officer in two distinctly different roles. Reign over vast armies to crush your foes or go freelance and work your way through the ranks to become a trusted military officer!
• Military cunning or military might – how will you unite ancient China?
• Create your own unique character in edit mode.
• Explore each level to discover strategic advantages and use new surprise attacks to catch your enemies unaware.
• One new character that didn’t appear in Dynasty Warriors 6 and six more characters have new weapons and new move sets.
• Brand new stages and levels that present new challenges to overcome. Including the return of the Nanman Kingdom.
