Retro Gamers Rejoice: Burgertime is Back!

Everything old is new again?
27 Years ago, Data East released an addictive and frustrating game called BurgerTime that became one of many classics during its time. Fast forward to today, and Namco Networks has declared it is BurgerTime once again, with the release of BurgerTime Deluxe, molding the arcade classic into a casual PC game.
BurgerTime Deluxe adds new enemies and includes minigames. It unfortunately replaces the repetitive BurgerTime classic music with equally repeitive, but far less catchy music.
The game still mostly plays like BurgerTime, and you can try it for yourself free for one hour at NamcoGames.com, after which you’ll have to pay for the full version as is customary with most casual games these days. All in all it’s a great little time killer for those new to the series and those of who can remember the original will want to go fire up the ol’ Atari to play the original.

Oh the nostalgia is hitting me…man, what a great game. Definitely gotta go try it out.
