Bethesda Softworks Releases New Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta Trailer

Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta, set for release on August 3, 2009, is said to follow a plot in which the main character explores an Alien Crash Site because of a strange radio transmission and is abducted by aliens. This fifth and final downloadable content pack is going to be similar in size to Operation Anchorage and takes places entirely on an alien spacecraft. It will be released for the Playstation 3 after the first four packs have been released and also for the Xbox and PC. Bethesda Softworks has released the trailer for the new content pack to whet your appetite with lots of creepy aliens and it’s great stuff, so check it out.

Rock Band DLC Update for the week of 8/3/09

Another week, another dose of downloadable content for the never dying Rock Band. Harmonix and MTV Games today announced they will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the theatrical release of This is Spinal Tap, along with  Black Sabbath, and Foo Fighters. So, you’ve already given all of your money to Harmonix and MTV, so why not give more and get some more songs that you’ll play once and forget about?

Additional tracks from Black Sabbath and Foo Fighters will be available in the Wii™ Rock Band Music Store, and tracks from Jane’s Addiction and Styx will be available for Rock Band Unplugged. Hit the jump to see all of the songs that are coming out for ever game on all the consoles.

Record Your Voice While You’re Burning Zombies in Burn Zombie Burn for the PS3

You like Burn Zombie Burn on the PS3? Well, Kuju Entertainment and developer doublesix announced today that the game is going to be getting a nice little update.

Players can now incinerate zombies to their favorite music, thanks to a new custom-soundtrack option, while new video-capture and uploading capabilities make it easy for zombie-slayers to immortalize their finest moments and share them with friends.

Today’s patch also includes a teaser trailer for Burn Zombie Burn! In Space, coming in the next expansion pack, and fixes scoring issues in the Burn Zombie Burn! leaderboard.

Box Art for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

Yeah, even though Phoenix Wright is out of the picture now in the attorney scene, you can still enjoy all of the thrilling action of court and yelling “OBJECTION” with the upcoming game by Capcom: Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth for the Nintendo DS. To be honest, I haven’t been keeping up on the game, but from reading the description, the game will feature most of the familiar faces you’re used to if you’ve played the series, but I have no idea who you will be play as, or who the protagonist in the game is as of yet.

Prepare To Get WET!

You excited for WET, The all-new game that’s being published by Bethesda Softworks, and developed by Artificial Mind and Movement for both the PS3 and Xbox 360? Well, if you live anywhere in Europe, then you’ll be excited to know that you can pick up the highly-stylized game on September 18th for both of the consoles.

“We are extremely excited to bring WET to gamers on September 18th,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. “A2M has created an explosive gaming experience and the action is non-stop from start to finish.”

The game really sounds like something that…is semi-confusing, but a whole hell of a lot of fun once you get your hands on it. WET throws players into a heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping adventure of double crosses and paybacks in which they’ll take on the role of problem fixer, Rubi Malone. Use Rubi’s dual pistols or samurai sword during any acrobatic move as you take on countless enemies in a number of exotic locations around the globe. Does that make any fucking sense at all? That’s what we thought.

“We’ve worked really hard to make WET different from any other action game available”, said Patrick Fortier, Creative Director at A2M. “When players experience the game’s unique blend of gunplay, sword combat and acrobatics, they won’t want to put the controller down.”

Mythic Announces Warhammer Online Mac Beta

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning players on the Mac can now go to the Warhammer Online website to download the beta of the Mac client for both players with existing WAR accounts and new players who are interested in the Mac trial version. Thanks to the TransGaming Cider Portability Engine, WAR for the Mac was made possible and able to provide a smooth gaming experience for Mac users in the fall of 2009, when it it due to release with the official version.

“The MMORPG audience continues to expand, and that means gamers eager to experience WAR aren’t all playing on a PC,” said Jeff Hickman, Executive Producer of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. “We want as many players as possible to experience the glory of Realm vs. Realm combat, and bringing WAR to the Mac makes this an exciting reality.”
