More WWE Games? JAKKS says Yes, THQ…

JAKKS was more than happy to reenter into its WWE licensing deal with THQ, signing yesterday to extend it’s gaming agreement with the wrestling group through 2014.  THQ on the other hand isn’t so sure and has filed a lawsuit against JAKKS saying it wasn’t ready to make a decision and that JAKKS had no right to sign the agreement without THQ’s consent.

The two companies have entered into arbitration, so here’s hoping the dispute will not have an impact on releases.  Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 is due out in November, 2009.
