No More Heroes leaving the Wii behind

The Wii’s push to prove themselves as being able to provide hardcore gamers with content took a major hit today when developer Suda 51 said that the No More Heroes franchise must spread out if it wants to expand.
A sequel to the Wii title is currently being worked on by Goichi Suda’s Grasshopper Manufacture.
Suda 51 told Edge, “I really want to make No More Heroes a big franchise and with this second episode have bigger success. I’m putting a lot of care into developing this IP, as I feel there’s a lot of potential.
I think this is the last No More Heroes that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand it to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we’ve done everything we can with it now.”
What platforms will No More Heroes end up on? Only time will tell.

Man, that sucks. I thought that the game worked extremely well on the Wii. I honestly don’t think I’d like it as much if it was on anything but…..
