Bioware Plans to Remove Violence from Games?

Bioware said that they are going to be focusing more on the story then combat which makes since but they told GamesIndustry.biz that they plan to remove violence almost completely out of their games. Bioware believes that different audiences would just enjoy the story. They think that without the fighting system the player will focus more on the characters and will feel a connection with them emotionally.  Sounds like a movie to me but I guess it doesn’t matter it seems they have their minds set on this, and it seems we may have just lost a major developer.
