Mythic Announces Warhammer Online Mac Beta

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning players on the Mac can now go to the Warhammer Online website to download the beta of the Mac client for both players with existing WAR accounts and new players who are interested in the Mac trial version. Thanks to the TransGaming Cider Portability Engine, WAR for the Mac was made possible and able to provide a smooth gaming experience for Mac users in the fall of 2009, when it it due to release with the official version.

“The MMORPG audience continues to expand, and that means gamers eager to experience WAR aren’t all playing on a PC,” said Jeff Hickman, Executive Producer of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. “We want as many players as possible to experience the glory of Realm vs. Realm combat, and bringing WAR to the Mac makes this an exciting reality.”
