Wii 32GB SD Card And SD Streaming Support Launches With Guitar Hero 5

Back in October 2008 Nintendo promised to allow users to use a SD 32GB. The support is finally coming for it , but something else is in store too…
“…straight-up booting off the SD card is available, and that means easier downloads, larger expansions, and quicker loads when bringing in song data from the SD card into GH5.”
The article also confirms that downloading tracks on the Wii version of Guitar Hero 5 will not require single track downloads anymore and will feature albums and track packs available for download. The most important part of this is the fact that 32GB and streaming off SD cards will be available for retail games. Allowing for more possibilities when it comes to DLCÂ in retail titles. That being said though, Nintendo tends to be a strange company and only time will tell if they will have certain limits on the system at all that may effect other games.
