Diablo III may still hit consoles

While Diablo III fans may not be happy about the game not shipping til 2011, the good news is that blizzard is looking at the possiblity of bringing the game to consoles as well.

“As Diablo III takes shape, I think we’ll do an evaluation. I think there is a pretty good argument to be made that that type of game might work very well on consoles. There might be some technical limitations though that we might need to get past.”

While they don’t mention specific consoles, it is most likely PS3 and 360 since the games would be much easier to port, where as if there was a Wii version they would have to probably do some major changes to the Wii version, at least visually.
