Assassin’s Creed 3 could see feudal Japan setting

When speaking about the possible locals for future Assassin’s Creed games, Phillipe Bergeron said “one (setting) that is a personal favorite of a lot of people on the floor is feudal Japan, which is something that would be very interesting just culturally to discover and I think also to make players discover as well.” This is the second possible location we have heard of so far, the first we heard of being World War 2.  I wouldn’t worry about it though since the second game isn’t even out yet. You can check out Assassin’s Creed 2 on November 17th in North America and November 20th in Europe.

Dead Space 2 in 2010?

Reuters reported that Dead Space 2 will be coming in 2010. Considering the title came out in late 2008, this is a pretty legit sounding time frame.  There is a good chance it won’t come out till late 2010. If you can’t wait that long for Dead Space 2 maybe you should consider checking out the recently released Dead Space Extraction. The title has received great reviews , but unfortunately is not selling well at all.

Q Entertainment doesn’t believe Rez HD will hit PS3, maybe Rez on PSP

Q Entertainment recently has been receiving quite a few requests regarding to porting Rez HD to PlayStation 3. They answered “Porting Rez HD to PS3 would be more work than you think.” While it is a bummer that the PS3 won’t be seeing the title, they suggested a different solution. “And for it to be playable on PSP, perhaps the original Rez might be more apropos?”

While it definitely isn’t the most ideal solution, it is still a way for Sony fans to grab the title without hunting down an old copy.

Video of the DSi XL in action…kind of

This thing is a beast, I’m not sure if I really want it or not. It doesn’t look very portable, but the screens are massive. Also if you happen to stalk Iwata, you can see him in action as a statue holding the DSi XL along with a regular DSi.  Be sure to check it out if you haven’t seen the comparisons.

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces heading to Australia

Japan has had The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces for almost a year now and finally the title is coming outside of Japan. The title is developed by the developers of the Ace Combat series and was received well by Japanese press.

The Australian Classification Board recently rated the title confirming it for a Australian release. So far we have no idea when the title will come.  Xseed is releasing it in North America early next year, so we can probably assume that it would release some time near that.

Create an Undead Army with Zombie Tycoon

Frima Studio’s latest project is a PSP mini title, dubbed Zombie Tycoon, is releasing just in time for the Halloween weekend fun. Players control all of their zombies as their armies build up, and move them around ravaging towns and cities, eventually taking over the whole world.

“One of the biggest minis up to this date, our zombie game will give the player several hours to build his army and achieve complete world domination… It is not a port from a mobile game, but a whole new strategy game with a lot of funny and horrifying content.”

There are 10 levels in the game, with some cool cut-scenes, and some catchy dialogue. Players can burn cities down while also attacking individual inhabitants in it. There are over 100 items to arm your zombie with, so the fun never stops!

I guess this is something of a reason of why I would want to pick up a PSPgo, but at $250, I don’t even have a PS3 and I think that has a little more of a priority at this point. Anyhow, you can pick up the game for $7.99 today.

3D Dot Game Heroes “DEFINITELY” coming to North America

3D Dot Game Heroes is looking to be a great title, so it is great to hear that it will be making it overseas. I’m sure it won’t sell a large amount of units, but I’m sure it will have it will grab a fanbase. There still isn’t a relase date for North America yet though.  The game will probably hit Europe as well, but we will have to wait for an announcement.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Limited Edition

EA and DICE revealed the weaponry available in Battlefield Bad Company 2 Limited Edition. The Limited Edition is only available for a small period of time and cost the same as the normal version.

The four BFBC2 weapons are:

• Improved Vehicle Armor
• Supreme Vehicle Firepower-Additional weapon mounts for the driver
• Vehicle Motion Sensor
• Tracer Dart Pistol

It will also include the M1A1 Submachine Gun and the M1911 Pistol for Battlefield 1943.
