    this game looks upscaled rather than rendered.

    There is less colour and the screenshot is very blurred, this looks like a bad photoshop.

    Agreed with Jack. This is an upscale, not a render. In order to render it at 1080p the game must be capable of doing so on the native hardware while having the supported code within the software.

    However, the anti aliasing inclusion is a really nice approximation of what substantial AA would provide to the picture. Sadly, I do not see a reason why we need to ‘guesstimate’ what a 1080p picture would look like on hardware ill designed to take advantage of it. A PS3 or 360 game can look fantastic not just because of the potential resolution gains but also due to effects and shaders provided by a far more robust graphic chips.
