LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias Number 1 in US and Europe for WiiWare

It looks like the highly anticipated and amazing LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias has topped the WiiWare charts in both the US and Europe becoming the number one download on their service.

David Braben, Frontier’s Chairman and Founder, said:

The hugely positive response there has been to Winter of the Melodias is really heart warming, and the team really appreciate this as it justifies all the effort and care they put into it.”

The game has also brought the original back up in the charts in Italy, and even though I haven’t played the game, I know it’s going to be amazing. The production values and team behind the game are as skilled as those in bigger companies.
