You can now Pre-Load Left 4 Dead 2 and cry knowing that you can’t actually play it

First it was pre-loading the Left 4 Dead 2 demo so that you could count down the minutes to which it launches, then play it for days on end enjoying every second of it. Well, now what’s the next logical step in this series of wasting days of your life on end?

Yep, that’s what you can now do if, when the full game comes out you won’t have to wait for it to install on your PC. So if you downloaded it on Steam you can let the game sit there not doing anything, then when it comes out November 17th you can play it the very minute it comes out. So go out there, and get the game, let it sit on your computer, and stare, knowing that it’s there but you’re not allowed to play it.
