Microsoft’s Annual Banning Season has started again, and they’ve already got 600k and looking for more
It looks like Microsoft is at it again, busting gamers one by one in the thousands banning them from Xbox Live. This time, they’ve got 600k down, and are apparently looking for more.
It looks like their primary target this time is those gamers that have modded their 360 to play pirated games, or games for free. Of course, this is all coming from a source that works from for a call center that handles an Xbox 360 accounts. Here’s what the direct source has to say:
“Our office has gone to hell,” says the source. “People have been calling in around the clock and most of them are screaming teen-agers who don’t understand the terms of use that comes with the console they bought.”
Well, it looks like it sucks for you if you’re cheating developers out of their hard-earned money (unless it’s Activision), then you probably deserve to be banned. But if you don’t and you get banned anyways, we too find that extremely funny.
