When will Guild Wars 2 hit store shelves? 2011

It has been quite some time since Guild Wars 2 has been announced and now we get know it will be quite some time till the game sees a release.

“The commercialization will be expected at this point probably sometime in the year 2011.” – NCsoft West Ceo Jaeho Lee

He did say that there is a possibility a closed beta will take place in 2010 so Guild Wars fans shouldn’t give up hope on possibly getting a chance to play the sequel to the subscription free MMO.
