Nintendo announces two new titles

Last Window and Reginleiv

Nintendo announced two games today, one on the Nintendo DS and one on the Wii. The Nintendo DS title Last Window -Mayonaka no Yakusoku- is the sequel to Hotel Dusk: Room 215. The only real details about the the title currently known is it takes place in 1980’s Los Angeles. The games launch is actually already pretty close hitting a January 14th 2010 launch date for Japan.

On the Wii side Nintendo is developing Zangeki no REGINLEIV. This title is Nintendo’s very first internally developed M rated (Cero D) title ever ( Geist, Eternal Darknes, and other M rated published Nintendo titles were all second and third party developed). The only known detail about the title is that it will support 4 player online Co-Op. Zangeki no REGINLEIV will release a little later then Last Window hitting a February11th release.

Who knows if either of these titles will ever leave Japan. With Nintendo’s current localization rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if both never go completely world wide. I do think Europeans have a good chance of getting Last Window though.
