Assassin’s Creed II Sells 32% faster than original

First week sales of Assassin’s Creed II have just been announced by Ubisoft, and it looks like the game is doing much, much better than it’s predeccesor. The game so far for it’s first week sales has managed to rack up 1.6 million sales worldwide, showing a 32% increase from the first week sales of the original game. I haven’t played the original nor have I played this one, but from what people are saying and reviews across the web, the game sounds pretty solid and it looks like it’s taken some tremendous steps forward from the first game.
