Amazon sells stuff and here’s the top stuff they sold game-related in 2009

amazon Amazon sells stuff and heres the top stuff they sold game related in 2009Goddammit. Yeah, I’ve hired local interns to help with the site, and I told one of them to make a picture for this story it seems obvious that the Amazon rain forest would fit in better than Amazon.com. Christ.

Anyhow, we’ve got your top 10 game-related items sold in 2009 from Amazon.com. And…it’s almost no different then last year. Analysts say the Wii is dying; I say they’re dying. So without further ado:

1. Wii
2. Wii Remote Controller
3. Wii MotionPlus
4. Wii Nunchuk Controller
5. New Super Mario Bros
6. Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board
7. Wii Sports Resort
8. Wii Fit
9. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (360)
10. Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel

Compared to last year:

1. Wii
2. Wii Fit
3. Wii Nunchuk Controller
4. Wii Remote Controller
5. Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel
6. Official Nintendo Wii Wheel
7. Wii Play with Wii Remote
8. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
9. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack
10. Wii Charge Station

Good job remote, way to beat the nunchuk on that one!

This is how you do a Zelda-Themed Wedding Right!

500x zelda cufflinks This is how you do a Zelda Themed Wedding Right!Exactly. Just look at the picture above and let the bad-assness sink in. Has it sunk in? Now we can continue.

Kotaku reader Kyle and his recently wedded wife Ashley must like the Legend of Zelda, a lot. So when they were getting married, what better to do than have the game as the theme!? Plus, it’s classy!

As you can see, all of the groomsmen are sporting some nice cufflinks with with all of the game cartridges up to the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on the GameCube. Now I don’t wear anything that needs cufflinks, but I really want those. ALL OF THEM.

A custom cake? That would be the thing to top off one fantastic wedding eh? So by looking at this picture and reading this, I hope you now know how to prepare a Zelda-themed wedding. I hear that’s a sought-after skill nowadays.

Tetris + Mario = Why the Hell not?

500x tario tros Tetris + Mario = Why the Hell not?We get more and more interesting flash games coming from people every single day. This time, it’s a skew of two of the most popular games of all time, Tetris and Super Mario bros. What do you get when you combine the two? Tuper Tario Tros. of course!

The game is a recreation of level 1-1 in the original game, but you can switch between the “Mario” view and the “Tetris” view at any point to get rid of those damn bricks. You can’t play it forever obviously, but it works very well, is an interesting concept, and I would actually love to see more levels done this way. I would highly recommend you guys to go check it out!

There will be pieces in a new Metal Gear Solid game? WTF?

159012 d 590x332 There will be pieces in a new Metal Gear Solid game? WTF?Yeah, we were wondering what the fuck too when we saw the above image. That’s just a screenshot off a new website Konami has put up, and shows snake under a cardboard box with a little text bubble that says “Piece Walker coming soon”. Well, we don’t know what exactly a “Piece Walker” is, but there’s either some cleverness behind the title, or the person they hired to make the title is half fucking retarded.

It’s only on the Japan version of the site, so we’re expecting it to stay there, but odds are it’s some mobile device sort of thing. That or…yeah, that’s it.

Video of OnLive; This Might be the Future

The video above is of OnLive CEO Steve Perlman talking about their gaming service, OnLive. If you’ve been stuck in a cave in the middle of nowhere since GDC 2009, you’ll want to watch this. It is about their OnLive service that is a bunch of cloud servers and a subscription-based service that allows people to play games on all different systems using this one service. You can switch instantaneously through each game in a quick manner. It would get rid of piracy, the revenue from the used games market, and could possibly get rid of all of those consoles you have sitting around your TV.

Okay, so with all of this Christmas and holiday deals going on everywhere because people think that just because it’s the holidays they don’t have to spend money on shit, there is a new Fallout 3 deal on Xbox Live.

You can pick up all five of the add-ons (Mothership Zeta, Point Lookout, Broken Steel, The Pitt and Operation Anchorage) for only 400 Microsoft Points today, which evens out to roughly $5. A bad deal? I think not.

You better pick them up today if you plan on doing so, because we don’t know how long this deal is going to be going on.
