As if we didn’t have enough modern-day war games, Medal of Honor goes to Afghanistan next year

As we didn’t enough war-based games from World War II and now, it has been announced that a “modern” version of Medal of Honor will be hitting next year. Players will be thrown into Afghanistan and…yeah. Apparently there will be a sweet single player campaign, and obviously some online features that will be overshadowed by Modern Warfare. The Tier 1 Operator is the most disciplined, deliberate and prepared warrior on the battlefield. He is a living, breathing, precision instrument of war.” said Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer, Medal of Honor. “We are honored to have the rare opportunity to work closely with these men to create a game that shares their experience.”

I guess it was obvious, due to the rumors surrounding this whole thing, but I just don’t get it. I mean, if we’re going to jump on the bandwagon of everything that sells well to make money, why isn’t there a Wii Medal of Honor Fit?
