Media Create November Hardware Sales Report – November

It looks like the official Media Create sales numbers are in for Japan for the month of November. It’s actually something to get a little excited about seeing, seeing as how the PSPgo came out at the beginning of the month there, followed the DSi LL later. So let’s see how the sales of the two handhelds compared:

Playstation 3 – 168,733
Nintendo DSi LL – 167,796
PSP – 144,145
Nintendo DSi – 140,261
Nintendo Wii – 138,091
PSP go – 28,802
Nintendo DS Lite – 22,870
Xbox 360 – 16,573
Playstation 2 – 8,178

The PlayStation 3 did remarkably well, topping the charts, and the DSi LL saw a HUGE month for launch, selling 167,796 units. The PSPgo on the other hand, didn’t do so hot, topping in at 28,802 in sales. Congrats to Nintendo and Sony for both having a huge month in Japan, and I hope the momentum for the DSi LL keeps up!
