Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Hits U.S. on May 25th

It looks like we’ve finally got a release date for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on the PSP. The game’s going to be hitting US shores on May 25th of this year obviously, and May 28th for you European blokes.

For just a little synopsis on the game, it takes place after Metal Gear Solid 3 on the PS2, and will be playing as Snake in 1974. Peace Walker features original game design, story and scenario by Hideo Kojima.

“Featuring an original story created by legendary game designer, Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a title that has serious sales potential,” said David Daniels, Director of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Kojima Productions has pushed the limits of the PSP system and we cannot wait to unveil their latest addition to the Metal Gear franchise to gamers this coming May.”
