Does the PS3 Motion Controller Have a Name?

Is it true that Sony’s PlayStation 3 motion controller has got a name? Well, the CEO of Electronic Arts, John Riccitiello, might have just spoiled everything.

He made the following remark at the UBS 37th Annual Global Media Conference when talking about pricing and innovation in the games industry.

“In the coming year, both Sony and Microsoft have announced new controllers. Motion sensor controls, Natal and Gem, these are likely to bring new consumers into the marketplace,” he said.

So what do you guys think? GEM… or acronym like G.E.M? Do you think this is the name of Sony’s motion controller or do you think Riccfitiello just mispoke? I’m seeing some words from Sony coming soon…
