Fat Gamers Beware: You are now being targeted by Microsoft

A new patent has been filed by Microsoft today, and it looks like fat gamers are the target. Something along the lines of them assigning avatars based on real height and weight. They say: “many of the incentives of the real world replicated in a virtual environment”. So… yeah.

The document also said “Physiological data that reflects a degree of health of the real person can be linked to rewards of capabilities of a gaming avatar”. So what this all means is that if you are fat (or whatever the fuck you want to call it), then Micrsoft can and will change your avatar to reflect that. Maybe they could possibly limit your playing time based on your weight, change settings, I’m not sure. A lot, and I mean a lot of people are going to be changing I seem though.

I don’t really see this as so practical though. I mean, OMG it’s just a fucking huge0ass avatar. I’m going to change my weight just to see what they’ll do because I in-fact WANT a big avatar. Bring it on Microsoft, bring it on.
