Cave Story for WiiWare Not Coming until 2010

It looks like we’ve got some more info for Cave Story coming to WiiWare. It’s kind of some not-so-happy news for the night before Christmas. See, I don’t know how to say this, but the game’s coming in 2010 and not the anticipated next week. On the bright side though, we’ve got some more info on the game for ya though.

- 60 frames per second vs the PC version’s 50
- Three game modes (easy, normal and hard)
- Easy Mode: Mister Traveler sustains half damage when hit, yellow Mister Traveler attire
- Hard Mode: 3HP, no missiles, Mister Traveler has blonde hair and a blue outfit
- DLC still coming
- Translated script with the blessing and support of Amaya-san
- more secret changes
