Pet a Cow With no Clothes on in Every Day the Same Dream
Now I’m not a big art or indie gamer, but when I saw the post on Destructoid about a drudge-tastic game that’s short, pretentious, and has multiple endings. This is Every Day the Same Dream developed by Molleindustria. So I played it.
The game is very simple and is all based around one man that is going through the same things every day in life. It’s your “job” to free him this monotonous curse, helping him with the “5 steps to become a new person”.
The graphics and music are very well done, with the music matching the dull and seemingly color-less game and the actions that you take within the game. As I was saying, the game has many different endings that you can explore, the first of which being meeting a homeless person when you’re supposed to be going to work, and he takes you to a graveyard. There are 4 others to explore, and I gurantee that you’d have to be pretty sharp to figure out the last one, because it took me a while to figure it out.
That being said, it’s very art-gamey, and it just has that sort of feel to it. And there’s no real…outcome more or less to the choices or decisions that you make within the game. Everything is just focused upon exploring the different story branches. Plus once you get to the ending, you’ll feel like you just wasted 15 minutes, because it makes no sense and is not gratifying in any way. Oh well, I guess I give it an A for effort but more could have been done with the narrative and story but other than that it was a good play.

Clap
The moment with the cow was breathtaking

I like your style, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so interesting, I get fed up of seeing same-old-same-old all of the time. I’ve just stumbled this page for you
