Nintendo Dominates in Japan’s Top Ten games of 2009

The days are growing closer and closer until we’re thrown into the year 2010. Top 10 and the best game lists are everywhere (we’re too lazy to do them), and expect them to come for the next week or two. One that we are going to post on is the top ten games of 2009 for Japan, coming from Famitsu. These games are the ones the sold the most throughout the 51 weeks.

8. [WII] Monster Hunter 3 (Capcom) – 939.707
9. [PSP] Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (PSP the Best) (Capcom) - 894.469

As is to be expected, the Wii and DS dominated the market this year, whist the PS3 and PSP both got a mention with Final Fantasy XIII and Monster Hunger Freedom Unite, but the poor ol’ 360 is left in the dust.
