Apple introduces the iPad, we’ve got details
We all knew it was coming in some form or another, a huge, decked out version of the iPod touch and iPhone, and here it is. Apple has officially unveiled the iPad, that has all of the features of the iPhone, but can also be used as a laptop. It is said that this will completely bridge the gap between the smartphone and the laptop (unless you have huge fingers and can’t use the keyboard worth a shit).
Anyhow, I really like the idea, but essentially it’s a bigger iPhone. Just more real estate to surf the web, and do all of that. Plus there are other laptops that have accelerometers in them, have touch screens, have a full keyboard, and are small (just not as), so what really sets this apart? That discussion will be for an editorial of another day.
Kotaku has all of the details of the device, and it’s going to cost a pretty penny obviously, especially if you want to add some 3G to that package. You can check those out below this.
