New Companies join EA’s Origin

Electronic Art’s digital platform, Origin, has added numerous new partners today. Sega, Team 17, Rebellion, and Kalypso are some of the most notable additions. With these new additions, Origin’s total publishers and developers is up to 35.

The most notable of the newest additions is Sega, which has their popular PC title Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai available for preorder over Origin now. It was also said that more Sega PC titles will be released in the coming months. John Clark, UK Managing Director and PC Digital Distribution Director at Sega, made a statement expressing Sega’s excitement to be paired with Origin and that Sega is looking forward to connecting with the new audience through a range of PC releases in the future.

Craig Rechenmacher, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Origin at EA, made a statement about the newest additions to the Origin arsenal:
