New screenshots have been released by Square Enix that show us many of the things that we can expect from Theatrhythm‘s Chaos Shrine mode. This mode, when unlocked by collecting Rhythmia in the game, will introduce players to Dark Notes, randomly created songs that are a combination of field and battle themes (That can either mean a long playlist or a remix of some sort). The Chaos Shrine is also an area in which players can unlock new characters and discover new items as well as new songs.
Additionally, the Street Pass feature on the 3DS can also be used between players to share their Dark Notes; or they can simply use Local Play.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy releases in North America on July 3rd.
Kyree didn't have an N64 or Dreamcast as a kid (so sad) and he doesn't remember finishing any of his PlayStation games, but skip to the PS2/GC/Xbox era and everything changed. He hasn't been outside to play tag in forever, but he can recall playing way too much Smash Bros. and even more Kingdom Hearts; seriously, he can recite lines from it. I think he may have a problem.
