I’m still going to stick by my belief that Ubisoft can’t seem to announce their own stuff. They can go into detail about it, but not make the initial reveal because the internet is the best spy ever.
A very observant NeoGAF member noticed that UK retailer GAME put up a new listing for a couple of unannounced titles from Ubisoft for Sony’s handheld. Assassin’s Creed III and Ghost Recon: Final Mission were both outed by the retailer, with ACIII getting a release date of October 31st at €39.55. Ghost Recon’s official date wasn’t on the listing (probably saving that for E3) but it has been given the price of £34.99.
It’d be a bit interesting if Assassin’s Creed III on the Vita wasn’t simply a port with touch controls, but that’s probably what it’ll be. Ghost Recon: Final Mission will most likely be a new entry into the long running franchise and will also mark the third Ghost Recon title to have a release this year; recent release Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and the soon to be Ghost Recon Online being the other two titles.
With these two titles unexpectedly revealed ahead of time, it makes you wonder what else Ubisoft may have up it’s sleeve. I guess we’ll find out next week.
Kyree didn't have an N64 or Dreamcast as a kid (so sad) and he doesn't remember finishing any of his PlayStation games, but skip to the PS2/GC/Xbox era and everything changed. He hasn't been outside to play tag in forever, but he can recall playing way too much Smash Bros. and even more Kingdom Hearts; seriously, he can recite lines from it. I think he may have a problem.
