Google Chrome is the hip new thing now, so what makes more sense than to be able to download games on it?

It’s all about Google and it’s Google Chrome browser now. It runs fast, is sleek, and is all-around pretty damn awesome. Well, it has been officially announced at Google’s I/O conference today that there will be a service for the browser that will allow you to download games straight to the browser itself and play. As you can see in the image above, there’s Plants vs. Zombies and Lego Star Wars.

It’s set to launch later this year, and the best thing about it is that the games are just saved to the web browser. You are going to be able to use this with any browser of course, but if you do Google will blow your house up and kill your family.

So yeah, look forward to that. They’re not really going to kill your family too….as far as I know.
