Rockstar Games just officially announced the next entry into the Grand Theft Auto series, Grand Theft Auto V. Announced via their website, Rockstar has revealed that the debut trailer for the game will be released on November 2.
No other details for the game have been released though rumors are swirling that the game will be set in sunny Los Santos, the same setting as 2004’s Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Grand Theft Auto V will be the first game in the series since 2008’s Grand Theft Auto IV, which was the highest grossing game in 24 hours, it held that record until Halo 3 came along and Modern Warfare 2 after that.
Once the trailer drops on November 2, and we get more information in the months to follow, we’ll be sure to let you all know.
John Callahan has been a fan of video games since the second he laid eyes on Mega Man X way back in 1993. Since then it's been his (let's say hobby) of choice. If you can think of a major gaming console, he has it. If you can think of a game, there's a good chance he's played it. He started a gaming website back in 2010 called Gamerzitch, left that to work at The Gamer Studio, and has now found a new home as news writer and host of the Primecast at Default Prime. He also loves Lost and Prince.
