Its been 2 weeks since Ubisoft unveiled it’s new IP, Watch_Dogs, at E3 2012. The game has had many people buzzing and just all around excited for the potential the game has. Ubisoft may be expecting big things from their new IP too, because according to Fusible, the developer/publisher registered WatchDogsTheMovie.com (and many other domains like it) late last week.
A Watch_Dogs movie could certainly be entertaining (I’m all for tech/sci-fi movies) but these domain registrations don’t exactly mean a Watch_Dogs movie is inevitable. Let’s wait until the game actually comes out and, if it’s great, then we can start thinking about a movie. Live-Action, CG; whichever.
In the meantime, we’ll just have to settle for the demo we were all treated to not too long ago. Or we can try to get our phones to hack traffic lights and street lamps. I’m all for that too.
Kyree didn't have an N64 or Dreamcast as a kid (so sad) and he doesn't remember finishing any of his PlayStation games, but skip to the PS2/GC/Xbox era and everything changed. He hasn't been outside to play tag in forever, but he can recall playing way too much Smash Bros. and even more Kingdom Hearts; seriously, he can recite lines from it. I think he may have a problem.
