Okay, community made maps aside, it’s been quite a long time since Left 4 Dead 2 has seen any kind of DLC. Last time we got, what, The Sacrifice? Good things for those who wait, yeah?
A post on the Left 4 Dead blog details that after a fair amount of time testing and tweaking, Valve is finally ready to talk about a release date for the Xbox 360; specifically on July 24th. The Cold Stream DLC will contain Blood Harvest, Crash Course, all new map Cold Stream, Dead Air, and Death Toll. Additionally, all of the mutations from that time when Left 4 Dead 2 did mutations will be around permanently for you to play whenever you feel the need.
Sounds good, right? The blog post notes that a few surprises and other details are being kept until a later date, but hey, ‘new’ maps to play! It’s been along time since I played Left 4 Dead 2 but when DLC comes calling, I’ll be ready to answer.
I’m excited. Are you excited? Pills here!
Kyree didn't have an N64 or Dreamcast as a kid (so sad) and he doesn't remember finishing any of his PlayStation games, but skip to the PS2/GC/Xbox era and everything changed. He hasn't been outside to play tag in forever, but he can recall playing way too much Smash Bros. and even more Kingdom Hearts; seriously, he can recite lines from it. I think he may have a problem.
