EA and DICE have confirmed, via a blog post on the Battlefield website, that Battlefield 4 is in the works and fans can expect there to be a beta of the game next year. The catch, however, is that players must pre-order EA’s upcoming Medal of Honor title, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, to get guaranteed access to it. Does anyone else find it funny that EA publishes Battlefield and Medal of Honor? Isn’t that almost like to competing with yourself?
Anyway, despite Battlefield 4 being officially confirmed, EA was quick to remind people that Battlefield 3 is still around and has more to offer until they’re ready to go into more detail about Battlefield 4.
But we’re not ready to talk about Battlefield 4 yet – in the meantime, we hope you will continue to enjoy Battlefield 3 and all the Battlefield 3 Premium content still to come.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter releases on October 23rd and is also running on the Frostbite 2 Engine that powered Battlefield 3.
Kyree didn't have an N64 or Dreamcast as a kid (so sad) and he doesn't remember finishing any of his PlayStation games, but skip to the PS2/GC/Xbox era and everything changed. He hasn't been outside to play tag in forever, but he can recall playing way too much Smash Bros. and even more Kingdom Hearts; seriously, he can recite lines from it. I think he may have a problem.
