Left 4 Dead DLC Coming Soon

Valve announced that there will be new DLC coming to Left 4 Dead.  However, they said nothing about what it is or when it releases.  I was a little shocked when I saw this, because it doesn’t really make sense to release DLC for a game that is getting a sequel in a few months.  We also don’t know what the price will be.  Because of Valve’s history of free DLC, I would assume that it will be free-of-charge on the PC.  However as for the Xbox version, assholes Microsoft might force Valve to charge for the add-on.

Major Announcement Coming to 1 vs 100

During last nights game of 1 vs 100 live, host Chris Cashman mentioned that there would be a huge announcement coming to the show next week.  He didn’t even give us a clue about what it will be though.  Hopefully he will be announcing that we can finally win prizes, but there is no way to know until the announcement is made.

WTF? DLC Control Schemes

Lots of people are upset about the absence of button-punching in Fight Night Round 4.  EA says that they are considering adding button-punching as DLC.  They didn’t say if it would be paid DLC, but I know that the people at EA are mostly money hungry bastards, so it might end up costing you money.

Brutal Legend Box Art (BIGGEST PICTURE EVER!!!)

Everyone knows about Brütal Legend.  I know it’s awesome and you know it’s awesome.  Okay, now that we are on the same page  here is the box art for that awesome game.  The biggest picture EVAR is shown below of the box.  If you somehow don’t know about this amazing game, it is an adventure game that is set in an entirely metal universe.  No, not like the shiny metal, the awesome music genre metal.  The game even features voice acting from Jack Black and metal legends Rob Halford and Ozzy Osbourne.  Now that we have established that this game is awesome just look at the damn box already.

Hand-Drawn Mario & Luigi

World At War Sells 11 Million

Call of Duty:  World at War has surpassed 11 million units sold.  This continues to prove that people will buy crappy games if it had good predecessors.  Seriously, there is no reason for a repackaged CoD4 bad World War II game to sell this many copies.  I played the game, thought it was terrible, then traded it in to get myself 28 bucks that I shouldn’t have spent in the first place.  But whatever, that’s just my opinion.

Rumor: New Xbox In 2010

That shit's official.

A new rumor has surfaced today, saying that when Natal ships in 2010, so will a new Xbox.  However, it would not be a completely new console.  It would just have slight improvements over the 360.  For example, games on the new console would have slightly better graphics.  If this is true, the new console would ship in the Fall of 2010, meaning that that is when we will see Natal hit store shelves too.  I really don’t think I like the idea of a new Xbox.  It just doesn’t seem right to get a new one this early.

Lost Planet 2 Release Date?

There are lots of people (myself included) that are excited for Lost Planet 2, but nobody knows anything about a release date.  Well, on the games website, they are listing it as shipping in Winter.  At first glance, you instantly think of that as being this December.  However, Winter also includes January, February, and part of March next year.  So basically, we still have no idea when this is coming out.
