Call of Duty: World at War Maps get $5 off!

Call of Duty: World at War is getting money taken off of their three DLCs. This would be great and all but it is kind of late considering that a new installment to the Call of Duty series was just released a few months ago. Another major flaw in this deal is that on top of my previous sentence it is also only five dollars off, for the holiday season they could have at least halved it. Maybe it’s just me but I know I will probably never touch this game again, but those of you that will, will be pleased at that it will be 2000 Mp instead of 2400, unless your British then you’ll have to wait until January 7.

Left 4 Dead 2 Update

In the update today December 22nd, 2009  for Left 4 Dead 2 has come out, and many new things have come of it. Valve is continuing it’s amazing support of the game, making it exactly what people want. Here’s the full list of what has been changed:

Change where ghost infected can spawn in Scavenge

Player controlled Special Infected are no longer forced to un-crouch and lock strafe when they crouch attack

Spitter goop will now fade out faster on moving elevators

Survivors can rotate camera while being charged or pulled

Smoker that has dragged a survivor to the end now gets the same cinematic flashlight as the Hunter and Charger

Fixed the skywalker glitch

Fixed new special infected hit box

Fixed player health after being revived post being charged off a high ledge

Fixed versus scores from reseting after calling a vote to change campaign

DPrime Review: Borderlands: Zombie Island

Borderlands new DLC is Doctor Ned’s Zombie Islands. Once you get into a game of borderlands there isn’t anything special you really have to do to start the DLC, you, just walk up to a fast travel machine and pick Jakob’s Cove. You arrive here on your search for the Vault but you are in for a little surprise. Once you arrive you are greeted with a nice comedic story from your old friend Marcus (the bus driver). He says Dr. Ned (that is no way Dr. Zed just in a different disguise) was trying to save people from death but he made flesh eating zombies and your there to stop them.

DPrime Review: Borderlands

Borderlands is a first person shooter/Action RPG with thousands of different guns. But the game isn’t just about guns its also about the open playing field, the four player co-op, and the incredibly addicting missions and game play. There are around two dozen areas that you and three other friends can explore it this game, each with its own missions and bosses. There are also three arenas spread out across the planet where you and your friends can have organized fights. You can gain up to fifty levels and use 45 skill points to gain powers or gun damage or capacity.

DPrime Review: Star Ocean The Last Hope

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a console RPG that brings many new aspects to the series. The Last Hope is the fifth installment in the series and takes place just a few centuries before the original Star Ocean. A few years earlier World War III broke out and weapons of mass destruction ruined most of the planet and made the air almost impossible to breath. So the countries united together to form the SRF (Space Reconnaissance Force) with the intentions of traveling to new worlds and finding one habitable to the human race.

DPrime Review: Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo’s Dungeon

Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo’s Dungeon is a turned based RPG where the fighting is done on a giant grid. You are the main character from the beginning Chocobo who is a chocobo. You start out driving towards a giant tower which contains the item that your comrade Cid has been looking for all of his life. Once you enter the tower Cid explains to you that you get two different types of equipment the talons (attack) and a saddle (defense), he also tells you about combat, traps, special attacks, and hunger. Traps vary from damaging you, blinding you, halting you, to summoning ten to fifteen monsters to fight you, special attacks vary from class to class and each one takes different amounts of crystals and has different range, and hunger slowly decreases as you move and fight and once it reaches 0 you must eat or you take 1 damage a turn.

PS3 Controllers getting 3 New Colors

The PS3 is getting three different colored controllers soon. Actually this silver one above can be purchased at Gamestops all through September. The other two are deep red and metallic blue and also look appealing to the eye. They will all be available this October.

Halo 3 ODST Achievements

One of my friends has a look at all of the achievements for Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360. As far as we know these are all of the achievements that are in the game right now, and more can be added with the release of the final game.

As of right now, we know that the game will have 47 achievements, for the usual 1000 achievement points.

F.E.A.R. 2 DLC pack

IGN got word from Monolith that F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origins is getting a second DLC pack. This time around the DLC will not be based around the multi-player. F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn is adding four new single player missions where you will be playing as replica soldier Foxtrot 813 through a completely different story. There is no word of a release date or a price yet but it should be coming soon.

Avatars Getting Gears of War Armor

At Comic-Con Epic revealed that the avatars clothing store will be receiving some of the armor from their popular game Gears of War. You can have COG armor and dress yourself up to look like a generic COG soldierjust like Carmine. Epic is also releasing a locust armor pack that lets true Gears of War fans become a cyclopes. This pack will come out with the new avatar store and will probably be worth a good amount of Microsoft Points.
