  "Alan Wake was definitely a contender for my GOTY in 2010, but I can't help but be skeptical for a "standalone" installment. After playing through the main game and both downloadable episodes, I can wholeheartedly say that there are many more questions than answers in Alan Wake's mythology, and I'd prefer some form of resolution before pioneering this new project.   "Eternal Darkness is probably one of the most underrated games of its generation. I was lucky enough to find a copy at a local record store and it was worth it. I don't know if we'll ever see a continuation of this game, considering the current circumstances of Silicon Knights, but it doesn't stop Eternal Darkness from being an incredible game. Thank you for covering this gem. Awesome work."
