Weekend Primed: 10 of the Greatest Video Game freakouts ever

Video games are a form of entertainment. They provide us something to do when we’re bored, they give us an excuse not to hang out with our loved ones, and they keep us competitive with other people. There are some of those people though that content to freaking out over video games whenever they get killed, they do something wrong, or their team is a bunch of douches. Well this Weekend Primed is a homage to the greatest freak-outs over video games caught on video (oh, and we’re not posting the goddamn World of Warcraft “greatest freakout ever” or the N64 kid videos).

10) The art of bitching while playing World of Warcraft

It takes a lot of skill to be in public, where people can watch you, and be able to bitch this much while playing World of Warcraft. It’s two minutes of these two bitching at each other (mostly the prick in the white jacket).

9) Monitor gets with help of keyboard and DDR frustration

The video is pretty cool when he’s rockin out to DDR on a keyboard. But I think that’s one of the better questions though: who the fuck plays DDR with a keyboard? That’s his first problem. The next is, look at his room! I mean this person should be in a padded white room if he’s putting his head through the wall because of video games.

Weekend Primed: The Awesome of Modern Warfare 2 (So far)

Yes! I am deciding to show my face again with the Weekend Primed series, since I don’t have school tomorrow and I have not had school for a week due to my skipping, I decided that I would put in the time and effort to add a little more to this each day before it was finally shown to the world on….today. What’s the result? A sub-par list of very cool Modern Warfare 2 knife throws, headshots, snipes, and all of that stuff that you’ve probably already seen on Youtube (most of these are knife throws though). Too bad eh?

I posted this video on the site on the first day the game came out, and it still never ceases to amaze me some of the lucky shit people can do in the game. Out of nowhere throwing a knife and killing somebody to win a game. Just awesome.

I don’t even know what to say about this one, but it is awe-inspiring, granted it didn’t take much work to make or any talent. Actually, this picture is so bad that it probably took negative talent, so much of a lack of talent that this thing was born. And that is why I love it.

Almost Weekend Primed: 5 Amazing/Terrible Video Game Console Knock-Offs

This week for the belated weekend primed, I’m going to get back to the lists, and this time I’m going to list the what I think are the 10 most amazing/terrible video game console and handheld knock-offs. Some of these you’ve probably heard of. But either way, there’s a Super Mario Bros. clone on all of them. Oh! And the list doesn’t go in any specific order.

5) Game Theory Admiral (GTA)

What is the Game Theory Admiral (aka GTA)? Well, it is an admiral which is pretty cool (although we don’t know what it does for the system), and isntead of playing fake/knock-off Gameboy Advance cartridges, this one plays actual Famicom games. The problem is, the famicom adapter that this uses makes the cartridge tower feet over the handheld itself, and then when you pick it up, you’re going to be holding it pretty far away from you or you’re going to hit yourself in the head. I mean, after all of that, and the problem of importing Famicom games, why not just by a goddamn NES already?

Weekend Primed: Tokyo Game Show Trailer Wrap-Up

Tokyo Game Show has brought us many trailers for upcoming titles.  Games like Final Fantasy XIV, No More Heroes 2, and Dead Rising 2 all make an appearance, along with games from Western developers like Assassin’s Creed 2, God of War 3, and Splinter Cell Conviction. Weekend Primed: Why Video Game Fans are the Best and Worst of all types of Fans – Part 1

Everybody knows that videogame fans are really cool, but also very crazy and sometimes most of the times eccentric. What the hell does this have to do with anything that is going on today in your life right now? Well, since you’re reading this, you probably noticed that this edition of Weekend Primed is about why and how video game fans are the best and the worst type of fans. On here will just be my opinions as always and since I am writing them they are obviously right so don’t try to contradict them in the comments section you Battlestar Galactica fanboys.

By the way, this is just part 1, next weekend will conclude the segment with the rest of the reasons as well as general awesome.

In all different subjects that have fanboys, video game fanboys are far superior. The reasons are simple: you can be skinny, fat, beautiful, or just plain ugly and people can look and enjoy it (or laugh). You didn’t know that the notorious Jessie and James put on a couple pounds after they quit chasing Ash and his Pikachu? Well, video game cosplay can show you just that, because obviously everyone that is dressed up in a costume as something is the real thing.

The other side of cosplay, or as we like to call it…the “beautiful side”, is damn sexy. The kind of cosplaying girls that video game nerds wish they could hook up with. What do these girls dress up like? Obviously school girls, any type of cat, and any girl character from the Final Fantasy series. We love it, and so should everybody else.

Weekend Primed: Top 10 Coolest Super Mario Hacks

I guess I’ll have to apologize about my absence in the Weekend Prime series. School, football, it’s all been a huge cluster-fuck of bullshit that takes up so much time you can’t even believe it. Hopefully I’ll be putting out one Weekend Primed each week on Sunday, and I can just work on them during school and the like, because let’s face it, grades don’t matter in the long run.

Anyhow, this week is a top ten list of videos that showcase what I think are some of the coolest and best of the best Super Mario hacks and speed runs. These are all from the 2D side-scrolling Mario games back on the NES, SNES, and so on. Check em’ out because I guarantee you’ll like what you see. Also, these are not listed in order of awesome, just a random list. So it’s not like number 1 is the best and 10 is the worst.

A cool speed run through an action-packed, super hacked-up level makes for a fun video. Plus, it’s human controlled. Not the best of the best, but definitely a good one to watch first to introduce you to this list. Because it only gets crazier.
