Sony taking jabs at Nintendo with new video (surprisingly enough it’s featuring Kevin Butler!)
The new commercials featuring Kevin Butler for Sony and all of it’s awesomeness have been pretty amusing. The latest one however, featuring the brand new, super freaking awesome creative amazing shit I can’t think of anymore adjectives yet to describe the PlayStation Move.
The video also seems to take a jab at Nintendo and the Wii, commenting on the features like boxing (which wasn’t even shown), the way the controller is used as a gun, and that it has buttons (shot at Natal). Man, this thing is going to be crazy! I mean, I’m sure they had this in the works before Nintendo even came out with the Wii and it became a huge success.

3D Dot Game Heroes’ Protagonist is “The Most Interesting Hero in 3D”
We’ve got another trailer for the super original, and highly creative and innovative 3D Dot Game Heroes on the PS3. It boldly tells us not only in the title of the movie but in the movie as well that the hero in the game is “the most interesting hero in 3D”, also showing the dragon fighting the main character.
Oh the goodness of retro…and blocks.

Get a little taste of Crackdown 2 multiplayer with the new “Fun With Friends” documentary
First we got a Crackdown 2’s release date (read: July 6, 10′), but we’ve got to get a little more information about the game. Well Microsoft and Ruffian games are here to help us out, with the first in a three-part documentary series.
The first video in the series (view: above), is the “Fun With Friends” documentary. It has Senior Engineer David Hynd and Senior Mission Designer Dean Smith talking it up about the multiplayer in the game that boasts 16 player against each other, and 4 player co-op. There’s really no better way to blow the shit out of a town than with your friends (or blow the shit out of each other).

Tetris on the Casio VL-10 and Typewriter
It really is hard to get more awesome than this, and it’s a damn good way to start off the weekend. Combine a Casio VL-10, a typewriter, and countless other instruments, and you get Tetris.

Ah man, look how much fun the people in these product shots of the PlayStation Move are having
It looks like we’ve got a whole shit-ton of news concerning Sony’s “PlayStation Move” (fancy name for a Wiimote that only works on the PS3). The controller will be releasing this fall. The press release tells me that this will offer “a motion-based, high-definition gaming experience unlike anything on the market”, but besides the hi-def, I’m pretty sure I already own a Wii.
I don’t wanna hate on the controller, but seriously, we’ve seen Natal and all of the things that it’s supposed to do, but with these we really haven’t seen much that’s actually that innovative and that would really make me want to shell out the money to buy one. There’s also a huge list of companies that are going to support the thing, but how about some games?
But just check out those product shots and action shots below. Yeah, those people are having tons of fun, so why shouldn’t I?
Because I don’t wanna have to get a third job to have to pay for the damn thing.

Can we have some more 5-0’s on our famicon games please?
It’s amazing what people can do on little skateboards. The guy in the video is using one to fingerboard across a bunch of old famicon games and the console. It’s chalk-full of 5-0’s, tailslides, nollie bigflips, and much more. Now time to break out the full-sized skateboard!

Barack Obama is a huge fan of Modern Warfare 2
When our president, Barack Obama, isn’t jeering for change, reform, and the market (you know sometimes it goes up, and sometimes…it goes down), he’s spending his free time playing Modern Warfare 2, obviously.
Or it could just be some clever person with his gamertag set to Barack Obama, and just playing sound clips in the lobby and in games.
But that would make too much sense.

People are really taking advantage of how awesome Bad Company 2 is
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is out, and people are all over the online doing this and that, ranting and raving about how good the game is (oh wait, are those servers up yet?). Well here are two videos of people taking advantage of explosives, and using them to thwart the other their own team. I say it’s only a matter of time before buildings are flying through the air because of explosives.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey full Trailer Unleashed
Yep, Atlus has finally released it’s full trailer for their upcoming Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey on the DS. There’s lots of dramatic monologue, some demons, more demons, and we learn that M-Man is down. Shit just got real.
Remember the the game is scheduled to release on March 23rd, and will be packed with a soundtrack CD free with every box (for a limited time we assume) so get out there and get the game as soon as it hits shelves.

Metroid: Other M gets a new trailer; this means CG and GP
Yup, we’re super stoked on Metroid: Other M as you probably already know by now, but this trailer just didn’t fill my appetite very well. While the CG and the dramatic affects and voice-overs is great and all, there’s a distinct lack of gameplay that I can’t really jive with here.
I don’t see any shooting, and powersuits that outline the breasts in a sexy manner, no space pirates…there’s just something wrong here. I’m not going to take it out on the game and Team Ninja though. Yet.
