UK Sales Charts for Week Ending 2/13/10 – The “That’s right BioShock, rock that number 1 spot” and “yeah you better move down Mass Effect 2″ edition

UK UK Sales Charts for Week Ending 2/13/10 The Thats right BioShock, rock that number 1 spot and yeah you better move down Mass Effect 2 edition

After only a mere two weeks of holding the number 1 spot for sales in the UK, Mass Effect 2 has been pushed completely out of the top, and BioShock 2 is now in. It’s actually pretty shocking that Mass Effect 2 moved all the way to number 8, but oh well, I guess it’s just not as popular as Soccer or dancing. The good thing is that Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort have moved up in their sales positions, and that’s all we’ve ever wanted.

BioShock on Wii ‘Not Out of the Sphere of Possibility’

bioshock on wii BioShock on Wii Not Out of the Sphere of Possibility

In a recent interview with 2K Marin’s Jordan Thomas, the question arose about the BioShock series hitting the Wii, and surprisingly enough said that the game wouldn’t be out of the question, but seriously now…

“Nothing beyond speculation presently. Anything that’s brought to the Wii tends to need to be purpose built, or fairly fundamentally re-architected. There are few games that use Unreal that made it across to the Wii. It doesn’t mean that it’s out of the sphere of possibility, but it’s not something we considered for BioShock 2.” - 2K Marin’s Jordan Thomas

Is it going to happen?

Big Daddy goes on a rampage during a BioShock 2 Special Edition unboxing

BioShock 2 is hitting store shelves in less than a week, and we already knew that there was a pretty badass special edition available to pick up for the game that included the score, posters, and much more for just an extra $40.

Well 2K games has released a video of an unboxing of the special edition, and while that’s exciting, something even more exciting happens right at the end. I guess you’re going to have to watch to find out (or read the title).

bioshock on dvd 1260 1024x640 Get BioShock and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion IN A BUNDLE NOW!
Well, you can just call me BioSHOCKED about this news (damn right I went there). Anyhow, 2K games and Bethesda have announced that they have a new bundle out which includes two highly praised and respected games: BioShock, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. You can pick this bundle up on the Xbox 360 for $39.99, and on the PC for $29.99 mid-July.

Creating a value-rich package, the BioShock & The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Bundle combines 2006 Game of the Year winner The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with 2007 Game of the Year winner BioShock – two games with a combined bounty of more than 80 Game of the Year awards from the industry’s top publications. In addition to having achieved critical success and Platinum Hits status, both games rank among the bestselling titles on Xbox 360.

So if you don’t own either of the games, you’re either a nazi, communist, or a nazi communist. You will be having fun for a long time and playing through two of the greatest games on the 360.
