Hackers causing massive shit in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition
I didn’t even think that enough people played Modern Warfare on the Wii to even bother with hacking it, but after viewing the video above, these hackers are wrecking havoc on the world.

Kotick says the Call of Duty franchise is ‘greatest entertainment franchises of all time’
To further explain to the world how fucking popular the Call of Duty series is, Activision Blizzard has announced that the whole series has surpassed $3 billion in sales. Jesus Christ. Now, not only is it the “biggest entertainment launch in history”, it is also “one of the greatest entertainment franchises of all time”.
Who is quoted as to telling us about this? None other than our best friend Bobby Kotick [1]. Here’s what he says about it:
“Call of Duty has become one of the greatest entertainment franchises of all time,” he’s quoted as saying in a press release. “If you consider the number of hours our audiences are engaged in playing Call of Duty, it is likely to be one of the most viewed entertainment experiences in modern history.”
Let’s keep on releasing a game or two a year guys and lets get tons of fucking press about every little detail about the game, and you’ll be up to $6 billion by…. 2015.

Third Call of Duty development team open, Activision thinking about Call of Duty MMO
Oh Activison, you love money so much. Apparently Activision has added yet another developer to the Call of Duty franchise adding the total count to three development teams for the main series. This could be a good or bad though really. If Activison plays it safe and doesn’t throw Call of Duty games all over us until we suffocate then maybe we can benefit from this. It could help Infinity Ward and Treyarch have a bit of lax between releases rather then pumping out a title every two years. Why continue to make many games though when you can just make one then take people’s money constantly? That is what Activison is thinking about as Los Angeles Times says “One person close to the company said it also was considering adapting Call of Duty as a massively multi-player online world.”

Activision says that Gamers WANT to pay more for Content
It looks like Activision, being the money whores that they are, are explaining why they always want to make money whenever they can. They want to monetize fucking everything. Well, they’re saying that there are tons of features and experiences for Call of Duty some of their other games that gamers would actually pay for. So what are they going to do? Being Activision, they’re going to charge out the ass for content and features that should be offered free or on the disc.
“It’s definitely an aspiration that we see potential in, particularly as we look at different business models to monetize the online gameplay,” says CFO Thomas Tippl. “There’s good knowledge exchange happening between the Blizzard folks and our online guys. We have great experience also on Call of Duty with the success we had on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. A lot of that knowledge is getting actually built into the Battle.Net platform and the design of that.
“I think it’s been mutually beneficial, and you should expect us to test and ultimately launch additional online monetization models of some of some of our biggest franchises like Call of Duty.”
“Our gamers are telling us there’s lots of services and innovation they would like to see that they’re not getting yet. From what we see so far, additional content, as well as all the services Blizzard is offering, is that there is demand from the core gamers to pay up for that.”
Bullshit.

Weekend Primed: Why Video Game Fans are the Best and Worst of all types of Fans – Part 2
Last Sunday, I made the first post in the article about why video game fans are both the best and worst types of fans, and this weekend I’m here to finish off the list and trust me, it will be just as awesome as part number uno.
Little Kids on Crack Yelling on Call of Duty
There are some little kids on Call of Duty 4, and pretty much any Call of Duty game that are just annoying to no end. You know, the ones with the high-pitched voices that swear every other word, get 1 kill and 30 deaths, and think their bad ass? Well this is definitely what makes video game fans some of the worst fans ever. I can understand some competition in people, but these kids just don’t get it.
